Hi, I’m Ikaros, elder millennial (42), trans non-binary (they/them), writer, musician, and artist. I consider myself a lyricist before a prose writer first and foremost. I’ve been RPing in various forms since the 1990s starting with D&D and then moving on to forums and tumblr rp. I’ve been RPing on tumblr since 2012. I’m a guitarist, singer, and lyricist and I do a lot of art, both illustration and graphic design. I’m married and have a black cat named Loki who is really trying to live up to his name.

Kassandra (Greek: Κασσανδρα; 458 BCE – 2018 CE), also known as the Eagle Bearer, West Wind, or Keeper, was a Spartan mercenary who operated in Greece during the Peloponnesian War. During her travels as a mercenary, Kassandra came into conflict with the secretive Cult of Kosmos, an organization intent on controlling the entire Greek world. She later opposed the Order of the Ancients, who sought to hunt her down, due in part to her nature as a "Tainted One", and also for her allying herself with Darius. For her opposition against the Cult and the Order, Kassandra is considered one of the early precursors to the Assassin Brotherhood.She was the older half-sister of Alexios and, through her mother, Myrrine, the granddaughter of King Leonidas I of Sparta. Although raised by her step-father Nikolaos, Kassandra was the biological daughter of Pythagoras. Kassandra during her mortal years has more fear than her game counterpart showed (since the book gets into it more) but she still pushes past it. Her relationship with Phoibe in the book is much more sweet and very older sister/little sister, she would forfeit meals if it meant Phoibe could eat. Kassandra was more open with her affection towards friends and family, but she is also more brutal than portrayals in the game. This is canon to my portrayal as well. Canon differences also included in my portrayal is that her time spent in the Athens prison under Kleon was not a few days but a year (book canon), most of it in solitary confinement where she started hallucinating Cultists in her cell that she would lash out at. She also suffered brief torture at the hands of the Monger (book canon), nearly losing an eye in the ordeal and having deep scars on her thigh and ribcage from being stabbed by white-hot iron straight from the fire.Kassandra’s healing from the staff is also not as instantaneous as the lore has it, it makes her too powerful in some ways and takes away from some good tension. It heals quickly, some healing in minutes, others hours, most within a day or two. When healing the wounds glow as golden threads lace the injuries back together, and her Isu heritage shows with the markings on her skin. She also retains the offensive abilities of the Staff from the game. I want to put some more emphasis on her Isu heritage as I feel there was much to explore that we didn’t get.My canon beyond Odyssey and the DLCs and the Crossover Stories is largely up in the air so that things can be established through RP.

Destiny called to her one day when a contract calling for the head of the Spartan General, the Wolf, lead her to her father. The very man who threw her from the mountain. From there she uncovered a cultist conspiracy and spent 10 years fighting her way through Greece with a small army of allies to destroy this cult that destroyed her family and turned her baby brother into a monster. She wouldn't stop until her work was done.

What if Kassandra had been the baby on the mountain that night, taken by the cult and brainwashed into some horrible monster who believed herself a demigod from the lies she was fed. A being of pure malice in a blackened heart who haunted and hunted the Eagle Bearer longing for little more than to see an end to their pathetic attempts to reunite their family. All should fear Deimos, they are no puppet to the cult, they are like a god who walks the earth leaving quaking fear in their wake. And they will help the Cult of Kosmos rule over Greece through complete order and control.

vampire au Aletheia had such high hopes for the chosen one. Kassandra showed such promise, such strength. She did well with the simulations to help prepare her for the painful existence ahead. But she did not prepare her enough. The anger and bloodlust that resided in Kassandra's heart had weighed on her and the Staff latched on to it, twisting her into something unspeakable. She didn't know it was happening at first, until during a fight with leftover Cultist soldiers, it happened, Kassandra acting on instinct, bared teeth (fangs?!) on the man, tearing into his throat and draining him. In a panic she dropped him and tossed the spear far from her, calling to Aletheia to explain what happened. But the Isu only expressed regret that she didn't choose better. Aletheia had been silent to Kassandra ever since.

mythology au Kassandra never quite understood what made her different from her peers. She was stronger, faster, more agile. Her wounds healed faster than they should have. And she was exceptionally tall. She also never understood why this eagle found her at the bottom of Mount Taygetos and stuck with her for all these years. Maybe her first clue should have been her father's dying words that she was never truly his, that her real father was someone else. Maybe if she knew from the start that her father was Hermes, things would have made more sense. She was no mere mortal, the misthios called the Eagle Bearer was a demigod.

She awoke hours later with the staff seemingly missing and golden markings in her skin that then faded to nothing. It wasn't until a battle a few weeks later where she sustained what should have been a life-threatening injury that she realized that she couldn't die. That was so many years ago she couldn't even remember what year it happened. She was simply known for her skills as a fighter and killer for hire and was recruited into the Inquisition. Solitary by nature, how long could she keep her secret from the others?

A task she takes seriously, even if she doesn't always do it in ways that aletheia would have liked. Kassandra, in her travels, encountered those called true souls who served a being called the absolute and her patron guided her to stop the absolute and her followers at any cost. it was then that she ran into a group of tadpole infested who did not serve the absolute, whom she would offer her aid to in hopes to stop this threat to the realm once and for all.

arcane au Kassandra grew up at the base of Mount Targon before being outsed for reasons even she can't remember anymore. She wandered aimlessly until she eventually claimed Shurima as home for a while. She had somehow made herself known as a more than capable warrior in the ancient empire, eventually being a rare non-noble selected to become ascended as a God-Warrior. The process had been painful and when the energy died down, Kassandra stood in the middle reborn, aspects of the golden eagle imbued in her human form. As the empire eventually fell, she didn't care for the chaos between the other god-warriors and allowed herself to disappear into no more than rumors through history. Thousands of years later, she manages to find herself in Piltover during a time of great chaos.
